Tree Planting Project
The Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association launched a Tree Program in the summer of 2023 in order to increase the tree canopy throughout the neighborhood. Neighbors can apply for a free 30 gal canopy tree to be planted during our annual summer planting. To date the neighborhood has planted 60 trees.

Historic Preservation
Historic Kenwood has a rich history and architecture that deserves preserving. Historic designation discourages demolition, encourages sensitive renovations, ensures compatible new construction and increases property values. Community Design
This group advocates for the neighborhood on City matters that include zoning changes, local historic districts, street and sidewalk improvements and historic home appreciation. If you have an interest in design or planning email the group below.

BungalowFest
BungalowFest is an annual tour of homes that reflect the historic architecture and character of our Historic Kenwood neighborhood.

Walking Tours
Historic Kenwood partners with Preserve the Burg to offer monthly walking tours from September-May each year. The approx. 2 hour tour starts at the Craftsman House and typically features a brief tour of a historic home.

HK Salvage Garage
The salvage garage is run by volunteers and items are free to Kenwood residents. Donations of period items are welcomed and include: windows, doors, trim, hardware, and screens. Email to book an appointment.
