Each Saturday from October through April, St. Petersburg Preservation (SPP) hosts guided walking tours of four of the city's historic neighborhoods. The tour of Historic Kenwood is held on the fourth Saturday of the month. Tours begin at 10:00 a.m. at Craftsman House Gallery, 2955 Central Avenue. Tours are free for SPP members; $10 for non-members. The non-member tour fee may be applied toward membership in SPP if you join that day.
Enjoy the feel & character of Historic Kenwood, one of the country’s premier bungalow neighborhoods on this historic tour, led by residents who love to talk about their special neighborhood. On our tour, guides point out architectural features and share some of the history of the development of our neighborhood. The tours typically include a peek inside one of the neighborhood’s restored bungalows. After the tour, guests can choose to enjoy a drink or lunch on the wonderful front deck at the Craftsman House, an ‘airplane’ bungalow and the neighborhood’s original model home.
Take a peek at some photos of one of the tours -- and then come on along!
