The content of HistoricKenwood.org and how to use the site are explained below.   Each content area appears on the navigator pane to the left.   Some content areas also have a forum on the Message Forums page, where you can post comments about a published article or initiate new topics about that content area.   Questions about a specific forum should be sent to the Moderator for that forum.   Send suggestions for new forums to the Admin.   Use the private messaging (PM) facility on the Message Forums page.

About pop-ups:  While pop-up ads on commercial web sites can be an annoyance, HistoricKenwood.org uses pop-ups to display pages on the City of St. Petersburg web site and other information resources.   These are not ads for products.   Therefore if you use a pop-up blocking program, please set it to allow pop-ups from this site.

A Free Face Lift for HistoricKenwood?   It's IE7.

You'll love the increased text sharpness and density on our website when you upgrade to Internet Explorer v7.   IE7 was just released Oct 20.  The ClearType feature makes our base Tahoma font look brand new.   Try it.   Tabbed windows have finally arrived as well, though other browsers like Firefox have had them for some time.   After you install IE7, you can customize the look of ClearType by following the instructions accompanying the download.   Microsoft says the text improvements really show on LCD monitors, like laptops and flat screens.
