Welcome to Historic Kenwood Preservation,

      It is important that we all try to do our best to maintain the original structure and materials of our homes.  We are a historical community and nationally famous because of our bungalows and cottages.  I also urge you to apply for national and state historical identification.  Some statuses are easy and not intrusive while other classifications and more demanding.  Personally, the national guidelines is less demanding.

     Please check out this link http://historickenwoodpreservation.org/default.aspx to view items available for free.  These free items have been donated by our community residents and are here to help you try to maintain the historic beauty and natural state of our bungalows/cottages. 

     Donations at this time include: original wood window screens, jalousie glass and turning handles, front door, shed door, and windows.   These items are free to anyone to use to in their home.  I have other donations that I have not been able to pick up at this time. I will make sure that as soon as new items are collected that they are placed on line for you to view, pictures are available for most if not all items collected.

I am pleased and over whelmed by the response by those who wish to donate items.   So much interest that I am running out of garage space to store all the items I am collecting,  I am asking if there is someone/anyone who has free garage space available to assist in allowing me to store items for the purpose of bungalow/cottage preservation.  Please contact me at 727-289-6986.   Those who would like to actively assist in this preservation venture collecting and taking pictures for the web page,  please contact me.
