ENHANCING THE BEAUTY OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Within Historic Kenwood is one of the largest collections of American bungalow architecture found anywhere in the U.S. Our neighborhood association encourages property owners to improve their properties and maintain their homes, yards, and gardens. Our Historic Preservation Task Force and Garden Workshop are volunteer organizations - neighbors helping neighbors learn from one another and share elements of their homes and gardens with one another. A monthly Home and Garden Award recognizes homeowners who make beautiful improvements to their gardens and home exteriors.

BUNGALOWFEST

Each year at our BungalowFest, several hundred people enjoy touring selected homes and gardens in Historic Kenwood. In 2011, for the first time, the event included a designer show home - a newly restored multi-family property, in which all of the apartments are decorated by some of area's finest interior designers.
