Designer Show Home 2012

2012's Designer Show Home was located on the 2500 block of Dartmouth Ave N. To see pictures taken during our BungalowFest Gala Pre-view, click here. It is a 1938 two bedroon/one bath plus tudy and family room Tudor style home coming in at 1400 sq. ft.  The home  underwent a top-to-bottom renovation including installation of a completely new kitchen and bath.  Design professionals, brought together by Historic Kenwood resident Lisa Berardo, did their magic inside and out to make this an extra-special melding of art and architecture for all to enjoy.  In keeping with Historic Kenwood's desire to become an Artist Enclave Overlay District, which would allow artists to work in their homes and see customers, a special feature of the Designer Show Home was be an "Artist Studio" featuring the art work of various local artists including, Eduardo Camejo-Garriga (left), of Galerias Bohemia.  Another featured artist is Michelle Hinz (right) of Michelle Hinz Art Gallery.

Chris Bribach ceo/Founder Plants on Walls

It's a whole new way to think about gardening!

Grow a living wall easily with Florafelt Vertical Garden Planters. Our hand-made planters are designed to use the micro fibers in PET felt so that all the plants are watered equally.  The felt is made from recycled plastic bottles, a nylon non-toxic fiber that is indestructible and tough. This amazing material provides a safe growing medium that is pH neutral and non-reactive, so you can garden organically right on your wall - it's even safe for vegetables and herbs!  Roots grow right into the felt, which comes alive thanks to the microbiology in the soil.

Our planters come with our custom Root-Wrapping system. This lets you change and re-arrange your living wall at will, while maintaining the integrity of every plant in its own soil.
