For our residents:
The 2017 BungalowFest committee is looking to select about 10 homes that reflect the diverse range of architectural styles in our neighborhood. The goal is to have visitors come away from the event saying, “Wow! I didn’t know there was such an interesting variety of lovely homes in Kenwood!” So we're seeking well maintained homes with attractive gardens, decor both traditional and contemporary, adorned with fine to folk art and furnished with pride. Size doesn’t matter – we’d like to showcase homes of all sizes.
This year's home selection committee co-chairs, Colin & Felicity Jenkins, were on last year's tour. They've told us, "It was a wonderful experience meeting all the people who came to view the house and who were so enthusiastic and complimentary – we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Everything went so smoothly thanks to all the support we received from committee members and volunteers."
As many BungalowFest homeowners have discovered – often to their surprise – the whole experience was great fun, an enjoyable way to meet many new friends, and a major motivator for getting that pesky "to do" list finally done.
If you think your home may be a candidate, or if you know of another home that you’d like to nominate, please email Colin & Felicity by clicking firstname.lastname@example.org
